El Consorcio

Spanish vocal group El Consorcio was formed in 1993 by ex- Mocedades Amaya , Estíbaliz , and Iñaki Uranga , along with Sergio Blanco and Carlos Zubiaga . Performing songs inspired by everyday life and love, El Consorcio 's first album, called Lo Que Núnca Muere , was produced in 1993 by Rosa León and followed by 1995's Peticiones del Oyente and 1996's Programa Doble . Two years later, El Consorcio got involved in a project with prominent Cuban musicians, recording an album based on traditional Cuban songs called Cuba , which was finished after recording sessions in Miami, London, and Madrid.
